Underworld, the Cardiff electronic duo that consist of Karl Hyde and Rick Smith, began to make music together in 1980. Their break came with third album Dubnobasswithmyheadman that became part of the rave revolution. Its success was followed by a release of their massive hit Born Slippy that was selected by Danny Boyle for his legendary cult classic film Trainspotting. Meanwhile Born Slippy is still enormously popular, Underworld hasn’t stop moving further and creating new ways of making music. Theirs last album Drift Songs presents the band at height of its powers playing music that resonates and reflects the latest trends while still being loved by fans.
