Bára Zmeková is a pianist and songwriter whose music is a blend of jazz, folk, classical music, and subtle electronica. She first appeared on the Czech music scene in 2013 with the release of her debut album Ještě kousek. Since then, she’s played clubs and festivals across the country and abroad. In 2015, she joined DVA, Zrní, Mucha, Bratři Orffové and others to create the Hommage Bulisovi compilation and she opened for Swiss singer Sophie Hunger when she played Prague’s Akropolis club in October 2016. Bára has been active on the Czech alternative music scene and her music was part of the Superhrdinky and AKT – Kittchen compilations. Her performances are known to be very intense and fans have dubbed the concerts a “soul trip” and “poetry in music.”

Bara released her second album titled LUNAVES in March of this year. Its songs dominated the Radio 1 charts for a number of weeks and still earn rave reviews from fans and critics alike.
