LIAM GALLAGHER [UK]
Liam Gallagher comes from one of „the most musical“ English cities, Manchester, where he co-founded the band Oasis with his brother Noel in 1991. They became an absolute sensation of the 1990s and they earned their position among the most successful British music bands of all times as one of the pioneers of britpop. Their second and best-known album (What’s the Story) Morning Glory? Released in 1995 was awarded BRITs Album of 30 Years in 2010.
After the split of Oasis in 2009, Liam Gallagher along with the rest of the former Oasis (except for his brother) founded a band called Beady eye. The Band released two albums, openly building on the tradition of British psychedelic rock of the Beatles era. Beatles were a source of inspiration throughout the music career of Gallgher brothers. Beady eye split in 2014. Liam Gallagher started a solo career in 2017 releasing a debut album As You Were, which was very well received both by critics and by the public.
