The Slovak band The Ills base their instrumental music on a massive sound of two naturally harmonious guitars and mesmerizing rhythms. Over the years of their existence the band performed in clubs all over Europe as well as many major festivals, such as Eurosonic Noorderslag in Groningen, Netherlands, Iceland Airwaves in Reykjavik, or MENT in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

“I love post rock and I am positive that The Ills are just as good as Explosions In The Sky or Mogwai,” said Vic Galloway from BBC after seeing their performance at the Pohoda Festival in Trenčín.

The band was founded in 2008 and until now it released four records; the fifth one is planned for February 2019. At Metronome Festival they will present their well-known music as well as new compositions from the album to be released.
